The Environment Directorate-General is awarding a study contract for an in-depth investigation of national permits which affect integrated pollution prevention and control (IPPC). The contract will comprise 3 tasks: - comparative study of activities covered in the national IPPC legislation; - giving an overview of sectoral rules and guidance applied at national (or regional) level (e.g. binding national or regional emission limit values or BAT guidance notes); - in-depth investigation of actual IPPC permit procedures and permits.
