Endocrine disrupters in drinking water
There is increasing concern over the levels of endocrine disrupters, hormones and oestrogenic compounds in human drinking water supply. In response, the Environment Directorate-General will shortly call for tenders for a study to ascertain whether this concern merits a need for possible parameter and parametric value(s) for endocrine disrupters to be considered in a future revision of the Drinking Water Directive.
