Enterprise DG seeks assistance
The Enterprise Directorate-General plans to call for tenders for the provision of the following services in the pharmaceutical, food and automotive sectors: - provision of technical services in the pharmaceutical sector (300,000 euro); - provision of services in the field of medicines. Eudralex support: pharmacovigilance (45,000 euro); - study to assess the (business impact assessment) impact of implementing the 'white paper on food safety' on the agribusiness sector (50,000 euro) - study to assesses the impact of specific measures concerning export refunds for processed agricultural products (excluding Annex I of the treaty (60,000 euro); - study on the development of technology to control exhaust pollution from heavy goods vehicles with reference to the adoption of prescribed limits for nitrogen oxides (Nox) and taking the perspective properties of motor fuels into account.(40,000 euro); - study on the approval of heavy goods vehicle engines; assessment of services to control exhaust pollution from such vehicles by means of open-ended test cycles (140,000 euro); - study on the approval of a harmonised comprehensive test cycle for motorbikes and the associated correlation factors (115,000 euro); - study on the road-holding properties of vehicle tyres and the associated noise levels (90,000 euro); - technical assistance with the development of a standardised electronic format for the information on 'repairs' under systems for vehicle-engine emissions (15,000 euro); - study on selected aspects o the EC acceptance system for motor vehicles. The study will consider, amongst other matters, to what extent there should be prescriptions on approvals in EC legislation and the appropriate levels within this procedure for decision making (200,000 euro).
