Council Directive on electromagnetic compatibility and on telecommunications terminal equipment
Council Directive 93/68/EEC of 22.7.1993 amends a number of earlier Directives including Directives 89/336/EEC on electromagnetic compatibility and 91/263/EEC on telecommunications terminal equipment. In the interests of simplifying Community legislation, the Directive harmonizes various provisions in the prior Directives relating to the affixing and use of a "CE" conformity marking.
