Sustainable energy systems - research activities having an impact in the medium and longer term
The European Commission has published a call for proposals for sustainable energy systems - research activities having an impact in the medium and longer term under the Sixth Framework Programme's 'Sustainable development, global change and ecosystems' thematic priority. This is one of the areas covered by the 'Integrating and strengthening the European Research Area' specific programme. The following instruments will be used to fund research carried out in this area: integrated projects, networks of excellence, specific targeted research projects, coordinated actions and specific support actions. Proposers are advised to consult the work programme for details on which instruments are applicable for which topic. This call covers: - fuel cells (6.1.3.2.1) - new technologies for energy carriers (6.1.3.2.2) - renewable energy technologies (6.1.3.2.3) - capture and sequestration of CO2 (6.1.3.2.4) - socio-economic tools and concepts (6.1.3.2.5).
