The European Commission's Information Society DG has published a call for tenders related to an analysis of the socio-economic impact, at sectoral level, of information society technologies (IST) research results within the Community's framework programmes.

The study relates specifically to three IST domains, namely:
- health applications;
- mobile communications and systems;
- microelectronics and Microsystems.
