A Commission Directive adds a number of substances, in the light of technical progress, to the list of dangerous substances set out in Council Directive 67/548/EEC. The Council Directive contains a full list of dangerous substances together with particulars on the classification, packaging and labelling procedures in respect of each substance. The measures provided for in the new Commission Directive (93/101/EEC of 11.10.1993) are in accordance with the opinion of the Committee on the Adaptation to Technical Progress of the Directive for the Elimination of Technical Barriers to Trade in Dangerous Substances and Preparations. The newly notified substances are included in an Annex to the Commission Directive. Member States shall implement the laws, regulations and administrative provisions necessary to comply with this Directive no later than 1 January 1995.
