The European and developing countries clinical trials partnership (EDCTP) is recruiting three disease managers in the areas of AIDS/HIV, tuberculosis and malaria. The EDCTP initiative is long-term partnership between Europe and developing countries, aimed at developing vaccines against HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis, which are adapted to the needs and the local conditions of the developing countries. To help in this partnering initiative, managers will be charged primarily with defining and organising the portfolio of activities in their respective disease area; implementing decisions taken by the partnership board; coordinating training and research activities at clinical trial sites; and interacting with partner institutions. Suitable candidates must have a scientific track record, proven experience of programme and project management, a background in the specific disease area, as well as expertise in clinical trial conduct, including knowledge of relevant regulations. Contracts will be issued for a trial period of one year, after which, based on performance, managers will be issued a four year contract. For further information, please click here
