The return of CORDIS focus - a monthly magazine on European research and innovation
After a temporary interruption in production, CORDIS, the Community Research and Development Information Service, is pleased to announce that 'CORDIS focus' will again be published regularly from February 2005. For the time being, the magazine will be issued in English on a monthly basis, presenting an overview of the research and technological development (RTD) news published on the CORDIS News service throughout the previous month. Subscribers to the French, German, Spanish and Italian versions of CORDIS focus will automatically receive the English version during this interim period. Full translations into these languages are available for all articles in the publication on the CORDIS News website, which is updated on a daily basis. In addition to these languages, the CORDIS News service also offers a Polish version, launched in February 2005. With nearly 40,000 readers throughout Europe and beyond, each issue of CORDIS focus provides a review of the main developments in all aspects of European Union research and innovation activities, covering general policy developments, programme implementation and updates, calls, results, events, legislative activities - and much more. The full range of CORDIS focus publications - including the RTD Supplement, the SME Supplement, the thematic supplements and additional language versions of the news magazine - is due to be re-launched towards the end of the year.
