The Commission's Enterprise and Industry DG is currently inviting tenders for a study to benchmark regional and national support services for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the field of intellectual and industrial property.

The study will identify, analyse, classify and benchmark support services in the area of intellectual and industry property that are provided in the MAP participating countries (EU-25, Bulgaria, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, Romania and Turkey) and in other non-EU countries such as the US, Canada, Japan, and Australia.

To this end, the contractor will:
- collect and analyse information on existing support services for SMEs in the area of intellectual and industry property;
- benchmark a selected number of relevant support services and identify good practices; and
- disseminate the results.
