CORDIS focus now available in Polish
CORDIS, the Community Research and Development Information Service, has launched the Polish version of its publication 'CORDIS focus'. The monthly publication is now available in six languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Polish. To mark this occasion, a special CORDIS focus insert highlights the latest examples of Polish research and innovation initiatives and activities, potential partners and technology offers featured on CORDIS. CORDIS focus presents a selection of articles from the daily CORDIS News Service. With over 40,000 readers throughout Europe, the newsletter provides a comprehensive analysis of the most important recent developments in EU research and innovation policy. It also includes interviews and information on the latest calls for proposal, EU funded projects, forthcoming events, research results and other relevant topics. Readers can subscribe to the paper version of CORDIS focus or download the latest, or previous, issues as a PDF file. CORDIS focus is also available as an online version (in English only). The publication of CORDIS focus in Polish reflects an intention to provide an increasing number of information and news services to European citizens in the most widely spoken languages of the EU. The special insert 'CORDIS focus on Poland', available in six languages, features an article by Jerzy Buzek MEP, the rapporteur on FP7 on behalf of the European Parliament's Industry, Research and Energy committee, and former Prime Minister of Poland. It also includes a sample of recent CORDIS research and innovation coverage of special relevance to Poland, such as trends, policy developments and events. CORDIS News, the CORDIS homepage and the Guidance section are also available in Polish. A number of other services will also become available in Polish at a later stage.
