Call for tenders: evaluating the efficiency of public research spending
The European Commission's Economic and Financial Affairs DG has published a call for tenders for a study on the efficiency of public spending in support of research and development activities. The objective of the tender is to create a tool to help to assess the progress of the implementation of the Member States' national reform programmes in the area of public research and development and innovation expenditure. This requires the analysis and measurement of the efficiency of Member States' public spending in support of research and development, i.e. their direct public policies (direct subsides and tax incentives) against the background of the given framework conditions. For further information, please contact: European Commission Directorate-General Economic and Financial Affairs Attn: Fabienne Ilzkovitz BU-1 02/174 B-1049 Brussels Fax +32-2 299 3502 E-mail: ecfin-public-spending@ec.europa.eu To see the full details of the call, please consult the following web address: http://ted.europa.eu/udl?REQUEST=Seek-Deliver&LANGUAGE=en&DOCID=130482-2006
