The European Commission's Environment Directorate General has issued a call for tenders for a study into the economics of the environmental acquis: the case of land use. The aim of the contract is threefold: - to identify the key trade-offs that take place in choices over land use, and how policy action, notably environmental policy, may affect these trade-offs; - to provide a discussion and modelling of representative land use choices that illustrate the theory with real data; - to perform an analysis of the options for a quantitative modelling at EU scale of trade-off in land use, and to define a roadmap for the preferred option. For further information, please contact: European Commission Directorate-General Environment Markets Team, F.2 - Finance BU-5 00/169 B-1049 Brussels Tel +32 2 296 00 08 Fax +32 2 299 44 49 E-mail: env-tenders@ec.europa.eu To see the full details of the call, please consult the following web address: http://ted.europa.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:116031-2007:TEXT:EN:HTML
