Framework Agreement for cooperation between the EEC and Chile
A Council Decision of 4 March 1991 (91/158/EEC) approves the conclusion of a Framework Agreement for cooperation between the EEC and the Republic of Chile. Articles of the Agreement set out in full the aims of such cooperation with reference to, inter alia: The democratic basis for cooperation; economic, industrial and environmental cooperation; promotion of investment; science and technology; most-favoured-nation treatment; temporary admission of goods; social development and government service; information and communication; training; regional integration; financial resources for cooperation; the setting up of a joint cooperation committee. The Agreement shall enter into force on the first day of the month following the date on which the Contracting parties have notified each other of the completion of procedures, and is concluded for a period of five years.
