The European Commission has published an invitation to tender for a study on the non-CO2 greenhouse gases: CH4, N2O and the NOx, and precursors of the ground-level ozone: NOx and the NMVOCs. The aim of the study will consist in setting up an inventory of the emission of the greenhouse gases CH4, N2O, NOx and NMVOCs. The contractor will then define, at EC level, policy measures and control strategies for achieving the reduction control of these emissions. Completed tenders should be submitted to: European Commission Directorate-General for Environment, Nuclear Safety and Civil Protection DG XI/3 Finance and Contracts Attn. Mr. J.J.
