Public procurement consultancy
The European Commission has published a call for expression of interest regarding consultancy in the area of public procurement. Work to be carried out relates to public procurement and covers the following general fields: - The design, development and implementation of computerized systems, covering information technology and telecommunications, specifically related to public procurement; - Impact assessment of European Union procurement policy; - Codification, classification and nomenclatures in public procurement; - The use of standards in public procurement specifications and market-access; - Legal assistance on public procurement issues; - Surveillance of the procedures and practices used by contracting authorities and entities; - Assistance in relation to public procurement practices. Interested parties with suitable experience and capacity who may be interested in bidding for contracts in any or all of the fields mentioned are invited to express their interest. Those candidates who meet the selection criteria be placed on a list of potential contractors. The Commission service in charge will send invitations to tender for specific contracts in the fields mentioned above which are not the subject of an individual notice published in the Official Journal of the European Communities.
