Tender: sero-epidemiology as a tool to assess incidences of Salmonella and Campylobacter infections
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) has published a call for tenders to study sero-epidemiology as a tool to assess incidences of Salmonella and Campylobacter infections. The overall aim of this project is to further assess the applicability of using sero-epidemiology as a tool to estimate the population-based sero-incidence of Campylobacteriosis and non-typhoidal Salmonellosis. This is to allow a reliable and comparable estimation of multiplication factors for the population burden of these infections across EU and EEA/EFTA countries. The specific objective of this project is to have a usable and applicable sero-epidemiological protocol to assess the incidence of Salmonella and Campylobacter infections in the general, or in a specified, population. For further information, please contact: European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control Tomtebodavägen 11a Attn: Procurement S-171 83 Stockholm Tel. +46 858 601 000 Fax +46 858 601 001 E-mail: procurement@ecdc.europa.eu To see the full details of the call, please consult the following web address: http://ted.europa.eu/udl?uri=TED:NOTICE:160626-2009:TEXT:EN:HTML(opens in new window)
