The Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission has published a call for tender for the purchase of a mass spectrometer for isotopic analysis with the following characteristics:

- Thermal ionization source;
- High sensitivity;
- Multicollector system;
- Ionic counting system;
- Possibility of simultaneous analysis for the following two groups of masses: 233, 234, 235, 236, 238 and 235, 238, 239, 240, 241, 242, 243, 244;
- Possibility of measuring the isotopes of the Li, B, Mg, K, Ca, Rb, Sr, and Re elements, lanthanides and actinides using the "peak-jump" method.
