Call for proposals for EACEA/10/10 under the Lifelong Learning Programme
The European Commission has issued a call for proposals under the Lifelong Learning Programme. The call is composed of two sections: raising national awareness of lifelong learning strategies and of European cooperation in education and training (Part A), and supporting transnational cooperation in the development and implementation of national and regional lifelong learning strategies (Part B). The objectives of the call for proposals are to support the establishment and implementation of coherent and comprehensive lifelong learning strategies and policies at national, regional and local levels, covering and inter-linking all types and levels of learning. This will include links to other relevant policy sectors (e.g. employment and social inclusion), through: - awareness-raising activities and the establishment of national and transnational fora and networks, - supporting the identification of the main critical factors influencing the successful implementation of lifelong learning strategies and policies, - exchanging experiences and jointly developing, testing and transferring innovative practices, - ensuring strong institutional commitment, coordination, consultation and partnership with all relevant stakeholders and practitioners, - implementing efficient and equitable lifelong learning strategies and policies to achieve social inclusion.To see further details of the call, please consult: OJ C73 of 23 March 2010(opens in new window)
