TACIS education and training activities in the former Soviet Union
In the framework of the TACIS programme, the Community initiative for economic reform and recovery in the New Independent States and Mongolia, DG I of the European Commission has published a report on "Training and education reform in the former Soviet Union". The report outlines the strategy and activities of the TACIS programme from 1992 to 1994 and presents an overview of the education situation in the former Soviet Union and of TACIS activities supporting the reform process. Based on the experiences gained by TACIS, it suggests orientations for future cooperation. An annex lists the training and education funding provided by TACIS both by year and by project.
