Call for proposals under FP7 Cooperation Work Programme 2011, sustainable surface transport
The European Commission has published a call for proposals under the 2011 Cooperation Work Programme of the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) for sustainable surface transport. The call centres on innovative strategies for clean urban transport. Specifically, collaborative projects and coordination and support actions in the following areas: - Design, implement and test innovative strategies for sustainable urban transport; - Support action for coordination, dissemination and evaluation, CIVITAS Plus II (innovative strategies for clean urban transport). Meeting the EU's medium and long term economic, energy and environmental policy goals will require radical changes to urban transport. CIVITAS Plus II aims to support cities in designing, deploying and evaluating ambitious new policies and technologies for more sustainable urban transport.
