Call for tenders for a monitoring report of the Directive 2009/33/EC on the promotion of clean and energy-efficient road transport vehicles
The European Commission has published a call for tenders for a monitoring report of the Directive 2009/33/EC on the promotion of clean and energy-efficient road transport vehicles. The objective of this contract is to provide a monitoring study on the implementation of the Clean Vehicle Directive. The study will provide an analysis of the implementation of the Clean Vehicle Directive by EU Member States and the application of the relevant rules in procurement covered by the Directive. The study will also document and analyse the actions taken by Member States to promote the purchase of clean and energy-efficient vehicles. The study will assess the effects of the Clean Vehicle Directive, in particular the resulting impacts on the market development of clean and energy-efficient vehicles and on energy saving, carbon dioxide emission reduction and pollutant emission reduction.
