Environment Council adopts remaining specific programmes
At the Environment Council on 15/16 December 1994, the European Council formally adopted the remaining specific programmes of the Fourth Framework Programme for research and technological development. The programmes were ready for formal adoption due to the completion of their legal texts in each of the official languages. The programmes concerned were: - Environment and climate; - Biotechnology; - Biomedicine and health; - Transport; - Targeted socio-economic research; - Nuclear fission safety; - Dissemination and exploitation of RTD results; - Training and mobility of researchers; - Joint Research Centre (EC); - Joint Research Centre (Euratom). The above programmes had already been agreed by the Council on 1 December 1994.
