The Council and the Health Ministers meeting within the Council adopted on 4 June 1991 a Decision establishing a plan of action in the framework of the 1991-93 "Europe against AIDS" programme (COM(90) 601 of 13 December 1990 as amended by COM(91) 207 of 30 May 1991). The Commission has provided for an appropriation of ECU 9 million for the total duration of the programme.
