Information package for technology stimulation measures for SMEs
The European Commission, DG XII, has published an information package for technology stimulation measures for SMEs under the Fourth Framework Programme for research and technological development and demonstration (1994-1998). The information package contains details for the preparation of proposals for exploratory awards and for cooperative research projects, which are two specific SME measures implemented through the following specific programmes under the Fourth Framework Programme: - Telematics applications; - Industrial materials and technologies; - Standards, measurements and testing; - Environment and climate; - Marine sciences and technologies; - Biotechnology; - Biomedicine and health; - Agriculture and fisheries; - Non-nuclear energy - R&D component; - Transport. The information package does not cover the following programmes: - Information technologies; - Advanced communications technologies and services; - Non-nuclear energy - Demonstration component. The information package contains the following three parts: - Part I - Exploratory awards; - Part II - Cooperative research (CRAFT); - Part III - Information and assistance: Specific information on each programme. The information pack must be read in conjunction with the main information package for each of the relevant specific programmes.
