Financial instrument for the environment (LIFE)
Having reviewed the current status of the preliminary work concerning the Commission's proposal for a Council Regulation (COM (91) 28) establishing a financial instrument for the environment (LIFE), the Council has instructed the Committee of Permanent Representatives (COREPER) to examine the proposal in light of the Opinion of the European Parliament as soon as this becomes available.
