The heart and soul of reading
The project LOE for GOOD collaborates with a network of libraries to explore the benefits of bibliotherapy – a groundbreaking methodology that places emotions at the centre of the reading experience, as a way to improve inclusion, mental health and societal resilience. The project helps libraries nurture conversations, forge communities, gain new users and contribute to social well-being, particularly for their younger audience. The project will also enhance the role of public libraries as spaces where cultural goods are considered common goods and are used to connect people, artists and ideas.
