A first call for proposals for the Community's specific programme for research and technological development, including demonstration, in the field of transport was launched on the 17 January 1995. The European Commission will shortly be inviting further proposals for RTD projects under this programme. The second call for proposals for the Transport RTD programme is scheduled to be published in the Official Journal of the European Communities on 15 December 1995. Researchers intending to submit proposals should note that the Commission will confirm the deadline(s) for the submission of proposals indicated below when the formal call is published. The work programme, which gives detailed information about the research areas and relevant tasks, and the information package, which outlines procedures for the submission of proposals and details the contract that will be established with successful proposers, are already available on request from the Commission's services. Please note, however, that the versions issued with the first call for proposals remain valid. Revised additional information papers, which enable proposers to clearly identify the research tasks covered in the second call for proposals, will be available at the time of the second call.
