In accordance with Articles 92 and 93 of the Treaty, the European Commission has authorized the following State aids: - Germany (Hessen): environmental protection programme granting aid to investments for environmental protection and innovatory actions, mainly in the SME sector (ECU 1.2 million); - Denmark: Energy 2000 Programme encouraging the application of research results in the field of energy technology (ECU 2 million); - Austria: ERP-SME technology programme supporting innovative projects and promoting technology-diffusion (ECU 78 million); - France: Support to Eureka project EU 265 - Planet Marelli Autronica France - for R&D involved in constructing a pilot computer-integrated manufacturing line for producing electronic injection components (ECU 15 million); - France: Support to Eureka project EU 524 - Genelex SEMA-Group - for research involved in creating multi-lingual electronic dictionaries in the different European languages (ECU 21 million); - Spain (Asturias): aid programme for cooperative research activities to support research carried out through cooperation between enterprises and non-profit-making public/private research centres (ECU 2.9 million); - Germany: support to stimulate aeronautics research and technology (ECU 324 million); - Spain (Aragon): grants to non-profit-making private/public entities and SMEs to promote vocational training and employment (ECU 6.17 million).
