EEA Agreement extended in the areas of telecommunications and satellite communications
The EEA (European Economic Area) Joint Committee has decided to incorporate three European Council Resolutions into the Agreement on the European Economic Area: - Council Resolution 94/C 379/03 (OJ No C 379 of 31.12.1994 p. 4) on the principles and timetable for the liberalization of telecommunications infrastructures; - Council Resolution 94/C 379/04 (OJ No C 379 of 31.12.1994 p. 5) on further development of the Community's satellite communications policy, especially with regard to the provision of and access to space segment capacity; - Council Resolution 94/C 379/02 (OJ No C 379 of 31.12.1994 p. 2) on the European contribution to the development of a global navigation satellite system (GNSS). The Committee's Decisions entered into force on 1 June 1995.
