On 12 march 1996, the European Commission, DG III and DG XIII, published an open invitation to tender for a project entitled "European survey of Information Society projects and actions" (OJ No S 50 of 12.3.1996/OJ No C 72 of 12.3.1996).

The deadline for the submission of tenders for this call has since been extended from 10 May 1996 (17.00) to 21 May 1996.
