Ireland to receive ECU 37.7 million from Cohesion Fund

The European Commission is to provide ECU 37.7 million from the Cohesion Fund to help finance three major projects in Ireland. The Cohesion Fund will cover 85% of the cost of these projects.

The three projects, and the Cohesion Fund contributions, are as follows:

- Clonmel (South Tipperary) main drainage: ECU 13.4 million;
- Tuam regional water supply scheme: ECU 22.7 million;
- South Quays container terminal, Dublin Port: ECU 1.7 million.
