The European Commission, DG IX, has launched an invitation to tender for consultancy and engineering services in the field of telecommunications strategies for CTI (Computer-Telephony-Integration). The services to be tendered for involve assisting the Commission with the feasibility study for its CTI projects, the definition of technical requirements, submission criteria, selection of infrastructures and/or services in this field, as well as assistance during the carrying out and operation of these infrastructures and/or services. These services are required for the IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems, VMS (Voice Mail Systems), "Call Centre Technology and Call Centre Services" and other projects associated with CTI. For clear conflict-of-interest reasons, the winner of this contract and his possible subcontractors may not, throughout the whole period of completion of their contract, participate in invitations to tender for the supply of infrastructures and/or CTI services which will result from the completion of their assignment. Services will have to be delivered to the Commission in Brussels, Luxembourg, Strasbourg and, where applicable, other places where the Commission is established. The contract will be for an initial period of three years, with the possibility of renewal for two further periods of one-year. Tender documents may be obtained from: European Commission DG IX - Personnel and administration Unit C/1 - Buildings policy: options and contracts 200 rue de la Loi (ORBN 1/69) B-1049 Brussels Tel. +32-2-2967975; Fax +32-2-2952372 Completed tenders should be sent to the same address.
