Directory of Research Information Systems
A Directory of Research Information Systems (DRIS) has recently been launched on the World Wide Web. The Directory, produced by the Netherlands Agency for Current Research Information (NBOI), contains a world-wide inventory of research information databases, with approximately 70 descriptions currently available. The Directory includes all databases containing information on research organizations, on scientists or on current research projects or programmes. Some of these databases also contain research publications. Databases dealing only with information on publications (purely bibliographic databases) have, however, been excluded.
