Study on the status of Euro-ISDN 1997-1998
The European Commission, DG XIII, has published an invitation to tender concerning a study on the "Status of Euro-ISDN 1997-1998". In 1995, the Council and Parliament adopted guidelines identifying the objectives, priorities, broad categories of measures and a number of projects of common interest concerning the development of Euro-ISDN (Integrated Services Digital Network) as a trans-European network. The guidelines require an overall evaluation in 1997. The study will collect information about the status of Euro-ISDN in the Member States, and assess needs for the support of Euro-ISDN development. It should address all aspects of the guidelines, and should also make recommendations to the Commission. The study should be completed within four months.
