Council Decisions of 29 April 1992 adopt European Economic Community (EEC) plus European Atomic Energy Community (Euratom) research programmes to be implemented by the Joint Research Centre over the periods 1992-1994 and 1992-1995. The three Decisions comprise: - Council Decision 92/273/EEC adopting specific research programmes to be implemented by the Joint Research Centre for the European Economic Community (1992-1994): Specific R&D programmes in the fields of industrial and materials technology, measurement and testing, environment, and human capital and mobility, as defined in an Annex to the Decision, and including exploratory research, are adopted for the three-year period 1 January 1992 to 31 December 1994. They shall be implemented in parallel with corresponding specific programmes of the third Framework Programme. The JRC may take part, as appropriate, in the centralized action for the dissemination and exploitation of knowledge resulting from Community research activities. Funds estimated necessary for execution of the programmes amount to ECU 341.55 million. - Council Decision 92/274/Euratom adopting specific research programmes to be implemented by the Joint Research Centre for the European Atomic Energy Community (1992-1994): Programmes in the fields of nuclear fission safety and controlled nuclear fusion, especially concerning prenormative aspects, and including exploratory research activities, are adopted for the period 1 January 1992 to 31 December 1994. As appropriate, the JRC may take part in the centralized action for dissemination and exploitation. The total appropriation estimated necessary for execution of the programmes is ECU 202.95 million. - Council Decision 92/275/Euratom adopting a supplementary research programme to be implemented by the Joint Research Centre for the European Atomic Energy Community (1992-1995): Concerning the operation of the High Flux Reactor (HFR) at the JRC's Petten establishment, the programme is adopted for four years starting 1 January 1992, with an estimated appropriation of ECU 75 million.
