The event will be hosted in Zurich, Switzerland, on 15 to 17 April 1999.The aim of the conference is to critically examine the case study approach in higher environmental education and research. It is directed towards environmental scientists at universities and engineers, economists, psychologists, systems analysts, modelling experts and representatives of science, industry and non governmental organisations who are interested in the case study approach in the field of higher environmental education and research.Examples of the presentation topics to be given at the event include, "Using case studies to promote more efficient training in environmental management at a postgraduate level: a Leonardo project in progress", and "Strategy centres as training institutions: analysis and comparison of different experiences around the world".
