Emerging food science and technology warrants European event
This two-and-a-half day conference aims to gather together scientists, industrialists and consumer organisations to share current developments and discuss future prospects on the application of emerging technologies in food processing and preservation. It will highlight results from ongoing European Union-funded projects on high-pressure processing, high electric field pulse processing and other emerging technologies.
It is organised by EFFoST, together with the Finnish Society of Food Science & Technology, and in cooperation with the European Commission, DG XII, and VTT Biotechnology and Food Research.
