EUDAT User Forum 2016

EUDAT invites research infrastructure and community representatives, domain researchers, community managers and data managers to attend its User Forum and training session taking place in Rome, from 3 to 5 February 2016.

3 February 2016 - 5 February 2016
Rome, Italy
Service orientation has always been at the core of EUDAT’s strategy, and this event focuses on users from multiple disciplines with research data management needs. New services or tools, in the area of Big Data Analytics and / or in the area of the Semantic Web, will be discussed in the context of research domains, with a focus on the domain-specific and cross disciplinary requirements.

Participants can expect to understand domain specific challenges from the biomedical and life sciences, earth sciences, the energy and environment sectors, the physical sciences and engineering, and the social sciences and humanities. Furthermore, they can contribute to the discussion on requirements and understand how EUDAT can provide practical solutions.

EUDAT will also hold a training session on 5 February that offers user communities an in-depth understanding of the EUDAT Collaborative Data Infrastructure (CDI), its research data services and solutions, and hands-on training options.
