INTEGRIM final conference

The EU-funded INTEGRIM project will be holding its final conference in Bilbao, Spain, from 6 to 8 July 2016.

6 July 2016 - 8 July 2016
Bilbao, Spain
The 2016 INTEGRIM (Integration and international migration: pathways and integration policies) conference focuses on the integration of public policies and processes experienced by international migrants in the European context and beyond. It aims to combine both academic and grassroots best practices and perspectives to enrich the knowledge, discussion and outcome of the conference in terms of policy change.

Given the concern regarding integration and migration throughout Europe, there is an urgent need to rethink the policy approach and the ways in which social movements may contribute to this. The integration of migrants is a test case for social cohesion and justice, and offers a lens through which to engage in a critical analysis of European societies, fueling public debate and furthering the issue in concrete action and policy.
