Biobased materials research: advances from ECOFUNCO and BIONTOP European projects

As part of the communication and dissemination activities, ECOFUNCO project is coordinating a workshop focused on bio-based materials, with the aim of sharing the expertise gained during the project about chemical extraction of biobased molecules and sustainability assessment.

The partners involved will deliver presentations on a variety of topics, from chemical extraction of bio-based molecules to sustainability assessment. Furthermore, representatives from the ECOFUNCO advisory board and the BionTop project have been invited to expand the impact of the talks.

The partners also invited representatives from BionTop project, funded under the same call of proposals as ECOFUNCO, which will have a dedicated session. The delegates from BionTop will present some examples of applications of bio-based materials in the food packaging industry.

The consortium has also invited some of the members of the advisory board of ECOFUNCO, composed of renowned international experts which will help disseminate the knowledge achieved in ECOFUNCO further more.
