Filtering software information day

An information day on filtering software and services will be held in Brussels on 15 February 2001 as part of the EU Action Plan on promoting safer use of the Internet.
The meeting will give an interactive opportunity to clarify the scope of the call for proposals and to encourage the formation of consortia through question and answer sessions, informal discussions with Commission staff present throughout the day, partner search through presentations of project outlines and informal discussions with potential partners.
In the afternoon, a workshop will be organised as part of the benchmarking study being carried out at the request of the European Commission's Information Society DG by the Joint Research Centre in Ispra.
Participation is recommended for suppliers of filtering software or services, organisations interested in providing a benchmarking service and organisations interested in promoting availability of better technical tools for parents.To register online, please consult the following web address:
