Symposium on environmental UV radiation A workshop on the effects of environmental ultraviolet radiation on health and the environment will take place in Munich on 27-29 October 1993.Organized by the Commission of the European Communities in the context of the Community's environment research programme in conjunct... 27 October 1993 - 27 October 1993 Germany A workshop on the effects of environmental ultraviolet radiation on health and the environment will take place in Munich on 27-29 October 1993.Organized by the Commission of the European Communities in the context of the Community's environment research programme in conjunction with GSF Forschungszentrum fuer Umwelt unt Gesundheit GmbH (Neuherberg), the objectives of the meeting are to identify priority areas for future research into the environmental effects of UV-B radiation, taking into account an assessment of past and current activities and scenarios.Six sessions will take place on various aspects of research in this field, each comprising a brief review of state-of-the-art knowledge plus a series of short presentations on current activities and results followed by a discussion period. A seventh, final session will be devoted to the identification of needs and the directions for future research.
