The Conference "EUROPARTENARIAT '93" will take place in Paris on 2-3 December 1993.

The Conference, which targets specific industrial sectors including medicine, food processing, environment technologies and electronics, is organized by the Euro Info Centre (EIC) Bonn, in conjunction with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Paris, Madrid and Mailand, and with the collaboration of DG XXIII of the Commission of the European Communities.

The organizers form part of the trans-European network of 220 Euro Info Centres throughout the Member States, plus Correspondence Centres now in operation in EFTA countries and in Eastern and Central Europe.

Euro Info Centres provide local or regional access to European Community information. They form part of the Commission's business information and cooperation networks comprising Euro Info Centres themselves plus the Business Cooperation Network (BC-NET) and the Business Cooperation Centre (BRE, Bureau de Rapprochement des Enterprises). A range of services is available at each Centre, as well as access to key information sources including CORDIS, the Community RTD Information Service.

EUROPARTENARIAT '93 takes place in the context of the Commission's INTERPRISE initiative. This aims to bring together small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from different European regions, providing them with a range of support, to maximize their opportunities to form partnerships and reach mutually beneficial commercial agreements. The Paris Conference will focus on the following themes:

- Targeted searches for compatible partners in specific sectors;
- The creation of a catalogue of participants, for distribution by the Euro Info Centres throughout Europe;
- Opportunities for the participants to present their company to potential commercial partners from other Member States;
- Presentations on the theme "Cooperation Without Frontiers".
Information may be obtained from the local Euro Info Centres or from the EIC Bonn organizer:
