M-Business 2002 to examine mobile e-business

The first international conference on mobile e-business - M-Business 2002 - will take place from 8 to 9 July in Athens, Greece.
The event, organised by the Athens University of economics and business in collaboration with the IST (information society technology) MobiCom project, is being supported by the European Commission's Information Society DG. It aims to identify and debate research challenges, evolution scenarios and innovative business models for m-business.
The conference aims to provide an interdisciplinary forum for academics, managers, policymakers and technology experts. The event will offer a four-track scientific programme including panels, workshops, demonstrations and keynote presentations.
Issues examined will include value-added services and applications, innovative business models, technology and infrastructure advances, best practices in m-business and regulatory and policy issues.
M-Business 2002 is currently inviting submissions for the four conference tracks.For further information, please contact:
