FISA 2003 conference to review FP5 projects on reactor safety
The main aim of FISA 2003 is to present an overview of projects funded in the area of 'operational safety of existing installations' of the Key Actions on nuclear fission and fusion under the Fifth Framework Programme (FP5).
The conference will focus in particular on the applications of phenomenological research to plant life management and accident mitigation techniques, for present as well as future generation reactors.
With regard to the Sixth Framework Programme (FP6), discussions will focus on the objectives of the programme's activities, as well as networks of excellence and integrated projects.
Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in a number of networking activities aimed at strengthening cooperation within the international reactor safety research community.For further information, please consult the following web address:
