Course on ceramic nanocomposites-based products, Madrid, Spain

The EU-funded IP NANOKER project is offering a training course on the production of ceramic nanocomposites-based products in Madrid, Spain from 23 to 27 February 2009.
In five modules, the course will cover the following topics:
- materials, process and product development strategy;
- the synthesis of nanopowders;
- the processing of nanocomposites;
- properties of nanocomposites;
- modelling and simulation.
The course is aimed at young researchers, engineers and professionals from the EU Member States. It is particularly interesting for those with a degree in chemistry, physics, metallurgy or materials science, and who are interested in acquiring specialised training in the development of nanostructured materials with applications in the fields of biomedicine, optics and materials for use in extreme conditions.For further information, please visit:
