EuroAfriCa-ICT concertation meeting, Brussels, Belgium
The EU-funded EuroAfriCa-ICT project will hold a concertation meeting on 10 December in Brussels, Belgium.
With an increasing number of regional, national and international initiatives addressing the development of EU-Africa science and technology cooperation, the EuroAfriCa-ICT project aims to establish links between initiatives in Europe, sub-Saharan Africa and the Caribbean addressing information and communication technology (ICT) research.
Items on this meeting's agenda include the following: keynote presentations on roles and visions of ICT research cooperation between Europe, the Caribbean and sub-Saharan Africa, thematic sessions on ICT research for health, infrastructures and sharing perspectives on the way forward in light of the recent EU-African Union partnership implementation for science, information society and space.
Organising quarterly concertation meetings, the EuroAfriCa-ICT consortium offers an opportunity to stakeholders to share visions, network and build synergies in ICT research.For further information, please visit:
