Joint conference on geographic information matters and spatial data infrastructures, Prague, Czech Republic

The European Umbrella Organisation for Geographic Information (EUROGI) will host a joint international conference on geographic information matters and spatial data in central and eastern Europe on 12 and 13 May in Prague, Czech Republic.

Specifically, the event will combine the 15th Information Systems in Agriculture and Forestry (ISAF) conference and the first Central and Eastern European Spatial Data Infrastructures (CEE.SDI) conference.

Conference topics include:
- scientific opportunities and directions in the European Union;
- information and communication technologies (ICTs) for rural areas;
- security and crisis management, global monitoring for environment and security (GMES);
- Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe (INSPIRE);
- land records, reference map schemes, Land Parcel Identification System (LPIS);
- spatial data infrastructure (SDI);
- living labs;
- e-learning for rural areas;
- the human aspect of information society development;
- food safety and traceability;
