'Integrative network biology 2012', Helsingør, Denmark
Biological networks provide a mathematical analysis of connections found in ecological, evolutionary, and physiological studies, such as neural networks. They can help researchers represent and analyse the essence of biology's layers as computable networks.
At the same time, demands for sophisticated analyses of biological sequences are driving forward computational molecular biology (sometimes known as bioinformatics). Many of the most powerful sequence analysis methods are now based on principles of probabilistic modeling.
This conference will be a forum highlighting how network models can be applied to the study and targeting of complex diseases such as cancer, diabetes and neurological disorders. For further information, please visit: http://www.networkbio.org/
